Meet Dr Vilma Di Maria. She’s been in the medical industry for nearly three decades, graduating from medicine in 1989 at Adelaide University before moving to Melbourne.
After a few years doing hospital rounds, she became a fellow of General Practice and went on to become a medical educator at the Royal Australian College of General Practice. She remained there until 2007 – training registrars, developing and running workshops for overseas doctors and preparing them for Australian Medical council exams – before her own general practice demanded more of her time.
After 15 years running the show, Dr Vilma joined plastic surgeon Howard Webster in 2005. Since 2008, she’s been both an international Allergan trainer and on the Allergan advisory board. The next logical step was to apply her specialised knowledge to helping people look their best at Dr Face.
