The risks

We’re confident in our services and our results speak for themselves, but it’s important you’re aware of potential side effects. One of the advantages of having a team of highly trained doctors is that we’re able to recognise complications if they occur. Complications are uncommon, and rarely serious, but we’re always on the lookout.

We as doctors assess each person to see if they’re a suitable candidate for treatments, doing our best to avoid any problems before they occur.

Please note we don’t treat women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or people who are allergic to the anaesthetic we use.

If you have a side effect lasting more than a few days, please call our team to make an appointment. And, along the way keep in touch with us with any worries you have.

Anti-wrinkle injections side effects

Vascular complications
Rarely, filler can block a local small blood vessel at the injection site. If this occurs, treatment is urgent. Contact us immediately at any time on 03 7001 3500 if you experience pain, and / or skin discoloration, looking like whiteness, purpling or blackness of the skin in the hours after a filler injection.
